Rules for Pokemon/Digimon Donations
I've gotten a few questions about this and with X/Y coming out (*weeps at empty wallet*) now seems like a great time to talk about how Nakama TCG handles Pokemon and Digimon decks.
'Mons can be solo mastered or included in mass collections like any other character. You can claim a mass set of 'Mons with humans or of just 'Mons. Where the rules come in is how we donate the characters. Please give this a look if you plan on donating either!
+ Pokemon are donated per stage in their evolutionary line, so theoretically there could be Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu decks. However, a Pokemon only receives one deck across all continuities. For example Ash's Grovyle and Mystery Dungeon Grovyle would both be in a general Grovyle deck. Pokemon that can forme change such as Castform and Deoxys receive one deck for all of those forms combined rather than one for each forme.
+ Digimon are donated for their entire evolutionary line, since they can shift between modes openly so it is more like form shifting than permanent evolving. and are named after their Rookie form unless they're Gatomon they spend most of their time in another form. Again, one deck spans all continuities.
I'm aware of how bringing this up might open the floodgates, but I'm not really concerned about that because when Colors started getting 'Mon donations it didn't flood the system. If we start getting SO MANY 'Mon donations that it heavily dwarfs the rest of the TCG I'll put a limit on how many players can donate per month. I really don't think that will happen, but I just want you to know I have a plan if it does.
And last off, a question: How should we handle accepting X/Y Pokemon? I know in many circles the Pokemon who appear in the new games are considered spoilers and plenty of people prefer to play blind. I'm considering delaying allowing X/Y 'Mon donations till January because of this - please tell me what you think. For this month though, X/Y 'Mon donations will not be accepted.

(The other examples I can think of are Wallace/Willis's Terriermon versus Henry/Jenrya's Terriermon, the three times Lopmon has appeared in the franchise, and the Patamon in Frontier (who also looks different from Takeru's Patamon). But Agumon is the only time when you have two major characters do this.)
I suppose it's in some way parallel to the comics rule,...
