I'm just a little confused about Masteries. If you have a completed deck, but you're using it for a Mass Mastery, can you still Solo Master that deck, or do you have to use if for the MM and then collect it AGAIN to get the solo mastery too?

[personal profile] panchromatism 2012-12-09 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Solo Masteries and Mass Masteries are two separate masteries. So basically, if you collected it as a Solo Mastery, you can't use it for your Mass Mastery and vice versa. You will need to collect the deck again.

I've been wondering if there's really a birthday thread, or was it just a joke? I mean, it has to be a joke; I forgot the last time I got a birthday present, it has been YEARS, so that's the only logical explanation!

There is, actually! It's over here. It was added in later than the rest of the threads due to my error so it got buried in between comments. Sorry about that!

Question about Puzzle cards and trade count; since puzzle cards count as two cards, when trading you'd trade two singles/specials for one puzzle, right? Does that count as 1 trade or 2 trades, though? Just curious! o/

[personal profile] panchromatism 2012-12-13 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
All puzzles are counted as two trades per card.

What's the official timezone of the TCG? It could matter on Prejoin 3 & 8. I tend to participate at night, so I'm not sure if it'd count as today, tomorrow, OR MAYBE YESTERDAY! Ta tah tan!

Let's say I post a reply around 10pm tonight, and I want to reply tomorrow at 10am. Those 2hrs at night could mean I'm participating 2 times the same day according to some people, depending on their timezones. Should I just pay attention to my local time? I'm probably just making a mountain out of a molehill; sigh.

I'd say just go pay attention to your local time unless there's a stated timezone in the post. Two of the mods go by GMT + 8 so we tend to get the games out earlier, but as long as you're sure you're doing them on different days, there should be no problem.

Hello hello! I was wondering if there was any future plans of adding the dreamwidth username of the player on the website? Because I've had trades from players who have their posts on their websites and I have no idea who they are from their dreamwidth name. D:

[personal profile] panchromatism 2012-12-17 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh dear, that is a problem. I've been a little tied up with time this month so I haven't been able to fix that, but I'll add it as soon as I have the time to mess with the codes. Sorry for the inconvenience that caused!

Question in relation to the latest Treasure Hunt, do gifted cards count as anything on the stamp card? :3

[personal profile] panchromatism 2013-01-03 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
They would count as a trade from the gifter, but nothing from the gifted yes. :)

Hi there~
I'm wondering what do I have to do to get my URL changed on the member list, because I have now an account on Needtakehave fully functional and it's a lot faster and simpler to update anything there. This is it.

[personal profile] panchromatism 2013-01-06 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Certainly! I've updated the link now.

[personal profile] ex_painter182 2013-01-06 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
Haaaay, I just wanted to check so that I don't get it wrong.
Let's say I have mastered a mass deck with deckone, decktwo, deckthree.
Then I want to have another checklist that is deckfour, deckfive, decktwo. Is that allowed? (Obviously, I'll have to re-collect decktwo again yes.)
Basically, just checking if we can re-master a same deck but in different combinations of Checklists.

/yes, i am a bucket of questions sob/

[personal profile] panchromatism 2013-01-06 11:35 am (UTC)(link)
That's perfectly okay! In Mass Mastery, you're allowed to master the same deck again and again in different match-ups.

Hi there!

This is a kind of odd question, but I haven't been playing at Nakama for months and I've long since lost my trading post information and such. Can I just sign up for the game again as a new player and start from scratch, or do I need to formally quit and then rejoin?
netbug009: Colors TCG - Netbug (Default)

[personal profile] netbug009 2013-07-20 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Well, technically this counts as letting me know, so I can purge your old info so you can go join again. As a general rule rejoining is welcome as long as people tell me so we don't have a bunch of outdated information. xD Welcome back!

For the multiple version of the same character, does that go for X-Men: Evolution vs. X-Men everything else? I'd really love a Nightcrawler deck that was not solely X-Men: Evolution, and you seem to separate X-Men: Evolution vs. the rest of Marvel Continuity.
netbug009: Colors TCG - Netbug (Default)

[personal profile] netbug009 2013-07-28 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
There was actually a recent edit to this rule for this exact reason: Animated Canons can all have their own deck since they tend to be more separated, but Marvel Comics all count as one continuity since there are like 1000 continuities and crossovers and holy crap. So basically, we can have a Nightcrawler deck for Marvel Comics, X-Men Evolution, X-Men (Cartoon), and Wolverine and the X-Men, Marvel Superhero Squad Show, etc.

The only exception would be if a comic is a tie-in for a cartoon, then it would be part of the cartoon's deck rather than the comic deck. For example, the X-Men evolution comic book based on the show would not get a unique deck from X-Men Evolution since it involves the same characters in the same universe.

Bluh, I hope this makes sense. Multiverse is such a pain, isn't it. Lemme know if you're still confused. X_x

Okay, quick question:

When I look at the Scoreboard section, it seems to imply that levels are determined on card 'count', but then I looked through this and it seems to imply that it's actually based on 'worth'. An example:

Let's say that for some bizarre reason I only had 50 puzzle cards, each worth 2. Would this set of 50 puzzle cards count as '100 cards', and thus be valid for a level up, or would it only be worth 50, and my weird obsessiveness over puzzle cards be all for naught?

If it's the first case, then you should really make the service page more clear.

...I just discovered that eTCG ate a huge portion of my activity logs. DDDDDDDDDDD:
The last date that got cut off was Aug 18.
I have no idea why. Will this cause an issue in the future?
Should I restart or something since I can't really fix this... @_@

ETA: I'm attempting to restore my database, but in case I fail- do let me know if I should restart. :P

Don't worry about it - the same thing happened to me once. If any mods point out the missing logs let them know I gave you the okay about it.

Did you archive your logs without copying them to a text file first? Archiving logs in eTCG doesn't automatically save them anywhere - dumb but true. This is how I lost logs. X_x
