Hi there~
I'm wondering what do I have to do to get my URL changed on the member list, because I have now an account on Needtakehave fully functional and it's a lot faster and simpler to update anything there. This is it.

[personal profile] panchromatism 2013-01-06 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Certainly! I've updated the link now.

Haaaay, I just wanted to check so that I don't get it wrong.
Let's say I have mastered a mass deck with deckone, decktwo, deckthree.
Then I want to have another checklist that is deckfour, deckfive, decktwo. Is that allowed? (Obviously, I'll have to re-collect decktwo again yes.)
Basically, just checking if we can re-master a same deck but in different combinations of Checklists.

/yes, i am a bucket of questions sob/

[personal profile] panchromatism 2013-01-06 11:35 am (UTC)(link)
That's perfectly okay! In Mass Mastery, you're allowed to master the same deck again and again in different match-ups.

Hello! Is leveling up from 11-20 also at 100 cards per level? Or is there an addition? Just checking. :)

It's still 100 per level. :)

Hi there!

This is a kind of odd question, but I haven't been playing at Nakama for months and I've long since lost my trading post information and such. Can I just sign up for the game again as a new player and start from scratch, or do I need to formally quit and then rejoin?

[personal profile] netbug009 2013-07-20 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Well, technically this counts as letting me know, so I can purge your old info so you can go join again. As a general rule rejoining is welcome as long as people tell me so we don't have a bunch of outdated information. xD Welcome back!

For the multiple version of the same character, does that go for X-Men: Evolution vs. X-Men everything else? I'd really love a Nightcrawler deck that was not solely X-Men: Evolution, and you seem to separate X-Men: Evolution vs. the rest of Marvel Continuity.

There was actually a recent edit to this rule for this exact reason: Animated Canons can all have their own deck since they tend to be more separated, but Marvel Comics all count as one continuity since there are like 1000 continuities and crossovers and holy crap. So basically, we can have a Nightcrawler deck for Marvel Comics, X-Men Evolution, X-Men (Cartoon), and Wolverine and the X-Men, Marvel Superhero Squad Show, etc.

The only exception would be if a comic is a tie-in for a cartoon, then it would be part of the cartoon's deck rather than the comic deck. For example, the X-Men evolution comic book based on the show would not get a unique deck from X-Men Evolution since it involves the same characters in the same universe.

Bluh, I hope this makes sense. Multiverse is such a pain, isn't it. Lemme know if you're still confused. X_x
skaldadottir: I wish I knew how to quit you. (let me love you)

[personal profile] skaldadottir 2013-07-28 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Damn Multiverses!

But yes, that explains things perfectly! It answers my main question, which is: am I collecting a Nightcrawler deck to donate right now? Yes.

Thanks so much!

No prob. Yeah, I updated the rule because I'm a Transformers fan and one deck for EVERY iteration of some characters just doesn't work. E. G. Wheeljack in G1 is a nerd while Wheeljack in Prime is a hardcore Wrecker whose signature move is grenades. Plus when a new series comes out it'd mean either editing old decks or just not having things represented. I'd rather let there be multiple decks of a character if people want to donate them. xD

I really appreciate it, myself. X-Men: Evolution Nightcrawler is fun, but he's worlds different from the original comic book version.

Good! TBH I was worried the rule change would annoy others, but then I thought "If nobody wants more than one deck of a character, nobody will donate it!"

Okay, quick question:

When I look at the Scoreboard section, it seems to imply that levels are determined on card 'count', but then I looked through this and it seems to imply that it's actually based on 'worth'. An example:

Let's say that for some bizarre reason I only had 50 puzzle cards, each worth 2. Would this set of 50 puzzle cards count as '100 cards', and thus be valid for a level up, or would it only be worth 50, and my weird obsessiveness over puzzle cards be all for naught?

If it's the first case, then you should really make the service page more clear.

... Awesome! This'll make putting MCs and stuff into ETCG a lot easier, haha.

Also I'm not in the list yet... here is my comment.
