Someone was behind on their English assignment, so they read the first book that looked short and built a diorama out of stuff they found lying around -- mostly napkins filched from the dining hall. The book in question was The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett, so you ended up with a tiny spacecraft going over the side of a toy model of a world supported by four elephants standing on the back of a turtle. It was pretty lucky to find an actual plastic turtle to use, rather than just the napkins.
Even though the party was loud and lasted until the wee hours of the morning, when someone cleaned up the next day they found an entire novel composed on paper napkins. They found them spread throughout the apartment, tucked under coach cushions and rolled up in flower pots. The last napkin was found in the mouth of a plastic toy turtle!
They walked into the ransacked room in complete shock. On the floor next to the flipped over dinner table and broken dishes laid the body of their friend with her throat slashed and multiple stabs throughout her body. Upon closer examination of her body the found a cryptic message written in blood on a paper napkin. The fragmented message said "Beware plastic turtle". They all looked at one another wondering what this absurd message could mean. But before any of them could speak a word a giant plastic turtle ran through the wall and ate everybody. ...And that's the end of the novel that they read together! They grumbled about how lame it was before going to bed.
The last thing Naoshi saw before fainting from shock was a figurine of a plastic turtle being waved around in his face as a torrent of ice-cold water came splashing down over his head.
"Bucket of water balanced on the door plan: SUCCESS!" "Did you see his FACE when I waved Blastoise in front of him!?" "Oh crap, oh crap, he was carrying some kind of novel... paper napkins, anyone? We'd better get it dry quickly!" "The title of this is what... Icha Icha Paradise? It sounds kinky! I wanna see!!"
