Games? Movies? Prank set-ups? It's time to figure out what the Academy was up to last night based on the clues and evidence given! :D
Here are the items:
soda, Mentos, plastic toy.

Someone was sick of people leaving their towels around in the bathroom, so they set up a devious trap with a plastic toy as bait, and a diet cola and Mentos-fueled explosion as the trap.
This created a rather large mess when someone set it off by accident, but at least bathrooms are easy to clean, right?
Plastic toys, gather around for the astounding eruption of Mt. Mentos! From behind the desk, students did voices for the toys such as "oooh!" "ahh!" and "IT BURNS!"
Mentos. The ultimate disguise for a bomb. Of course, the little girl who passed by the spy carrying the pack didn't know that. Not at all. So when she walked up to him, carrying a plastic doll, her smile brimmed brighter than a Christmas tree as she giggled, asking, "Can I have one?"
The spy gulped, uncertain as he opened the can of soda, gulping it down in order to buy more time. He couldn't refuse a little kid! But giving her the candy meant the end of their life.
The Easy-Bake Dry Ice Machine. It was just one of many of their mad scientist inventions. However, none of their mad scientist inventions ever work. But today something strange happened when they fiddled with their invention. An explosion of light appeared.
They traveled back in time. It was the year 2008. They had a chance to change the world. But they decided to turn on the TV first to figure out exactly when in time they were in. The TV turned on. MTV. The screen flashes Experiment #711. They were watching the Pork and Beans music video by Weezer! Experiment #711. The experiment where two men dressed in lab coats mix mentos and coke together.
They realized that the timeline was good after that and went back to the present.
Too much caffeine and too little sleep lead to a game of War, fought across the living room with army men strapped to 'jet packs' made of soda cans and a well-placed mentos.
Someone saw the soda and Mentos trick, and had the great idea to take a little plastic toy boat and try to float it on top of the stream. Needless to say, somebody got smacked in the eye, and it wasn't very much fun after that.
"Dude, your toy turtle can't use Water Gun. Naoshi-sensei was basically soaked by a bucket of water balanced atop the classroom door, not your pseudo-Pokémon."
"OH YEAH? WELL, IF YOU'RE SO SURE, WHY DON'T YOU FEED THIS RARE CANDY TO BLASTOISE AND SEE WHAT ATTACK HE LEARNS NEXT?!"
"That's a Mentos, not a Rare Candy, and your "Blastoise" isn't real, it's-"
"THAT'S IT, I'M USING THE RARE CANDY NOW! GO BLASTOISE!!!"
